Hoy, 5 de noviembre, se celebra la Noche de Guy Fawkes (Guy Fawkes Night) conocida también como Bonfire Night o Bommy Night, Cracker Night o Fireworks Night para conmemorar el fracaso del atentado del 5 de noviembre de 1605 en que una facción grupo de católicos (entre ellos Guy Fawkes) intentaron volar el Palacio de Westminster en Londres.
Pero internacionalmente este día es más conocido por los comics y la adaptación al cine de V for Vendetta, un revolucionario anarquista que usa una máscara de Guy Fawkes para cubrir su identidad quien intenta destruir al gobierno de una versión distópica del Reino Unido.
Así que desde aquí celebramos la obra de Allan Moore y recordamos la Noche de Guy Fawkes.

Pero peor película.

Gran comic y buena película, generalmente es difícil que la película salga bien parada en comparación al formato original ya sea un libro o un comic.

Aquí si la regaron muy feo, uno de los principales peros de Moore a la película fue precisamente eso, los Wachowski eliminaron todo el anarquismo y la hijoputez de V y lo convirtieron en un llorón sentimental. La idea de Moore era confrontar el anarquismo con el fascismo pero a estos señores les pareció muy anticuado el tema. La película se perdió por eso.
